They say your eyes are windows the soul, so what’s with the shabby window dressing? Frame your peepers perfectly at this amazing new space dedicated to specs of all descriptions. More lab than optician, it’s turning sight into science once you step through the incredible frontage.

Located in an old bank building, the space feels homey with its black and white hounds tooth flooring and 50s furniture, comprising several rooms from the living room and kids space, to the glass-fronted lab where you can watch the masters at work.

As for the glasses themselves, you’ll find them displayed in cases inspired by Piet Mondrian colour blocking. But as everyone knows, fashion is about as fleeting as your youthful 20/20 vision, so for those with a more short-sighted view of trends, check out the rentable sunglasses selection.

Much like websites that offer membership to borrow bags and clothing, here you can pay rental subscriptions for a single day, weekend, week or month from EUR 10 and get your hands on the latest Marc Jacobs, Prada and Tom Ford shades. Mad science? Works for us.
