Originally created as an educational project to enlighten people on the world of art, MoMA has become one of the most important art institutions in the world. The museum features iconic masterpieces like Matisse’s The Dance, Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans and works of art from other sacred artists such as Picasso, Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Dalí, Kadinsky and Pollock. Even if you aren’t into modern art, then The Department of Architecture and Design is a winner as long as you have the slightest interest in design, and the food in Gabriel Kreuther’s The Modern is a big draw, too. The museum offers free entrance to employees of corporate sponsors – bring your employee ID if your company is among them.
