Neighbourhood SoHo, NoHo, NoLita | See on map
Metro Spring St [6], Prince St [R, W], Broadway-Lafayette [B, D, F, V]

These three neighborhoods on the cusp of lower Manhattan have some of the coolest shops, celebs and cafes in the city. SoHo is original hipster haven, and although it’s looking ever more shopping mall-ish with brand stores, the neighborhood still retains its original arty charm with iron clad loft buildings and cobblestone streets. For a more independent vibe, cross Broadway and head into NoLita, a small chunk of cute shops and eateries centered around Elizabeth, Mott, Mulberry and Prince Streets. NoHo is the most recent addition to this hipster trio, a tiny crossroads North of Houston Street that stretches across Bond Street and Great Jones Street and then heads into the East Village.
