Anyone who’s done a full circuit of foodie-fest Borough Market will be familiar with Wright Brothers, arguably London’s best fishmongers and oyster supremos. And whilst it’s almost impossible to bag a weekend seat at their original location, their new space sandwiched between Carnaby and Regent Streets is brimming with options.

Head downstairs for high tables and bar-style stools right next to the open galley kitchen, where chefs pipe fresh mash onto bubbly fish pies and shuck Maldons and Duchy natives (from their own Cornish oyster farm) right before your eyes. Upstairs has more formal seating as well as an outside space in the retail-heavy Kingly Court (home to Cha Cha Moon amongst other lunch spots).

The atmosphere is super buzzy with the local media lot favouring the cool, white-tiled interiors and industrial light fittings over the neighbourhood’s more stuffy establishments. For dining in Soho, you’d do well to leave the meat racks of Old Compton Street and veer over here for a seafood fix.
