If you’ve ever been to any of their other places, then you know that these three gents don’t do subtle. And indeed, just like their flamboyant Les Trois Garçons restaurant and showy Loungelover bar around the block, Maison Trois Garçons is best avoided if you’re prone to sensory overload.

Antique shop turned café, with everything but the staff (we assume) for sale here, this space on the trendy Redchurch Street feels as much design store as coffee shop. It’s a real treasure trove of overpriced yet covetable knick-knacks and collectables, antiques and vintage pieces, as well as their own bespoke furniture line from Portuguese manufacturer De Pau.

Foodwise, there are salads, sandwiches and more breakfasty items such as eggs, toasts, yogurts and an inviting selection of patisserie and homemade pastries. There’s free Wi-Fi for your screens and coffee, from the Allpress Espresso Roastery across the street, for the brain. How’s that for a spot to indulge in a leisurely breakfast or while away an afternoon?
