Much like its Kensington sister property (the former Base2Stay), the Nadler Soho is squarely aimed at those whose priority is a convenient location as long as the room is clean, modern and cushy. And located in a quiet alley little more than a quick snog away from the area’s bars and restaurants, this couldn’t be more convenient for exploring Soho.

Space is sparse but each of the stylish 78 rooms are well-designed, well laid-out and equipped with kitchenettes (i.e., fridge, microwave oven and a kettle), comfortable beds and great showers. With plenty of power points, the ability to connect your gadgets to the TV and free Wi-Fi (though plan to pay if you need a speedier connection), they’re practical, too.

In-house facilities are limited but there’s charge-free delivery from nearby restaurants – breakfast is supplied by deli fave Fernandez and Wells – and you’ll find everything you need in the neighbourhood. Sweatbox, for example, will take care of all of your workout needs. Singles start at GBP 145 but you’ll want to trade up if you’re planning to do more than shower and sleep.
