If you haven’t heard of The Dorchester, you’ve been living under a shell. The front courtyard, with its fairylight bedecked tree, is often the scene for much paparazzi hype as they try and snap whatever celeb du jour is making an exit. Massive art-deco style suites decked out in comfortable, but oh-so-elegant furniture face either Park Lane or the hotel’s own landscaped terraces, whilst the newly relaunched spa offers a retreat for famous feet and the baths are said to be the biggest in London. They’d need to be to accommodate all the egos.
