Confounded by Copenhagen’s many dining options? A great place to start if you’re spoilt for choice is this four hour gastro tour of the city. Starting and finishing at the Torvehallerne market, the experience includes eight different dishes at various locations around town which takes visitors to more out of the way spots to visit artisans, producers and foodie specialists.

Kick off with cheese tasting in the market, experience smørrebrød open-faced sandwiches at stalwart Aamanns, the Danish version of a hot dog (organic of course) and a bit of beer tasting at microbrewery Nørrebro Bryghus before finishing with chocolate treats from Summerbird.

The price may seem a little steep considering it doesn’t include drinks, but with only 12 people per tour and plenty of local knowledge on top of the tastings it’s a great way to see a different side of Copenhagen.
