Despite the name sounding like something more at home on a children’s cable channel, this new gastro pub on two floors is being heralded as a long-awaited younger sibling (note: not successor) to big-deal dining establishment Noma.

Created by Danish chef Fred Hvidt and Swedish sommelier Fredrik Nilsson, the vibe here is much more laid-back (request an upstairs table for more intimacy) with dishes easily split between three appetisers, three mains and three desserts, with diners choosing between two and five dishes according to the size of their appetite.

And you won’t need much more choice – what’s on offer is creative Nordic cuisine made with ingredients from the duo’s own biodynamic garden, from rolled pigs ears and bone marrow breadsticks to coal-sprinkled salmon and crispy corn-stuffed chicken. Definitely not one for the kids.
