If you’re bored of your wardrobe and unenthused by the season’s dictats, then consider dropping by Konzept86. The Kreuzberg showroom and concept space offers young designers a bit of a break – and you a chance to pick up something different.

It’s not just German fashion students with graduate collections either. The clothes and accessories are sourced from around the world, so you’ll find pieces from creative group Los Vladimirovich’s collaborative collections and dark utilitarian tailoring by Kiev talent Sasha Kanevski, as well as more local flavours such as shirts and coats from Steal Berlin.

Even better, you can take the clothes for a test run before you buy, with the option to rent pieces for 20-30% of the purchase cost, a price that includes dry cleaning. Perfect if you need to look like a seriously hip Berliner for the night, but don’t really want to take your new lewk through customs.

Our biggest complaint about this place is that the men’s stock selection is nowhere close to matching the women’s. However, set within The Wye, a 20,000 square-foot former post office converted into a creative workspace and arts and events house, there may still be other things of interest going on in the building.
