With 12 novels and eight films under his belt, including “Ma Mère” that took motherly love one step beyond comfortable, the enfant terrible of French cinema is still best known for his 2007 film “Les Chansons d’Amour”. The “musical about love, life and death”, featured – it was indeed inspired by – the songs of Alex Beaupain, and brought French eye candy Louis Garrel and Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet to the attention of gay filmgoers everywhere. Honoré’s latest movie “Non ma fille, tu n’iras pas danser” stars Chiara Mastroianni, daughter of Catherine Deneuve and Marcello Mastroianni.
