The style set has long been descending on the Costes group’s watering hole for its fortnightly Sunday gay soirée, but manager of the place Frédéric Gerval and trend scout-slash-music connoisseur-slash-man-about-town Danny Wilde now want your business on Fridays, too.
But put away the lube and latex gloves – it’s not that kind of FF taking place at Café Etienne Marcel. Taking inspiration from the Twitter hashtag, #FF is Follow (us on) Fridays with Funky Friends – an after-work, get-the-weekend-started monthly affair (book for sit-down dinner reservations).
More fierce than friendly, brace yourself for sharp outfits, sharper tongues, and the bar’s not always so sharp service, as well as some of the French capital’s most eligible homos.
