SPOON FOOD & WINE

This is either a stroke of culinary genius on Alain Ducasse’s behalf or an ADD exploration of food – the concept at Spoon Food & Wine is to serve up tasting dishes inspired by various cuisines and continents, encouraging the diner to choose their own garnishes and condiments. A foodie pleaser, it nonetheless maintains enough of a casual air with its laidback décor and communal seating arrangements, to attract the curious passerby with bubblegum ice cream, chocolate pizzas, pasta pots and Chinese style ribs with Indian tandoori sauce. The only thing you won’t be mixing and matching are your notes and coins; if you plan on going anywhere near the extensive, but expensive, wine menu, it’ll be credit cards all the way.
