Divided into three sections; an épicerie, a pâtissier and a traiteur, it stocks some of the continent’s most delectable and unusual offerings, from haute-chocolates and fresh pastries to exotic canned goods and the richest terrines. Half of the fun is in the buying, whether it be from glass encased displays where electronic tickets are dispensed, or traditional shelves full of tempting offers. Make sure you stop by for the amazing fruit baskets, chocolate boxes and other gift options to appease pernickety family and friends. The in-store caviar bar serves fishy options in sparkling silver surrounds (try the caviar muffin), whilst the café on the second floor is a super chic space with black and white rattan woven chairs and silver curtains, banquettes and beaded walls, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. And if you’re not entirely carb-a-holic, there’s a sit-in service at the bakery too.
