Now that David Lynch has brought his celluloid universe to life at Silencio Club, it only makes sense that someone would follow with a Tarantino tribute. The brainchild of Cyril Peret, creator of the ‘Don’t Tell My Booker’ parties, and Queen-founder Philippe Fatien, the inspiration for this hotspot is of course the Mexican brothel club from Quentin’s ‘From Dawn Til Dusk’ vamp flick.

Thankfully not entirely modeled on the film’s ramshackle dive, Le Titty Twister is more Paris chic meets Lower East Side rock’n’roll with its weird paraphernalia, neon pop art signs, pool table and pinball machine. To that end expect a fashionable, predominantly straight and girl-heavy crowd (Peret’s all about the models), and although the door isn’t quite as tough as André Saraiva’s Le Baron or Le Montana, dress to impress (rock’n’roll chic, duh) to ease entry.

Though there’s a good deal of self-conscious posing going on in the leather sofas, most are here to have a good time and if you do hit the dance floor, it’ll be to electro beats and bumping hip hop tracks. You won’t find blood-sucking strippers here (or George Clooney for that matter), but hit the tequila bar often enough and you could find yourself partying until the sun comes up, minus the shotgun.
