Step back in time at the Tango. This mini dance hall has the feeling of a jovial gay gangette. Reached down a cobbled street, the place has not seen a lick of paint or aching itchy designer inspiration. The total lack of an identikit gay makeover makes this a breath of fresh air on the scene.

A community spirit prevails, which supports and champions an eclectic programme of theme nights for special interest groups, making it weird and wonderful and hugely fun. Enter with an open mind and you will see another side to pink Paris. From nifty line dancers to Jewish drag acts. On the regular club nights you get a soft mix of dance greats and a chance to chill and chat at the ringside at table seated on old red plastic banquettes. This place is a space for non scene and trés scene oddities. A unique pleasure dome.
