A colourful bar full of bussle with the accent on ladies who have an eye for the ladies and a friendly meeting place for gays and lesbians. Le Troisieme Lieu attracts a mixed young college crowd and has a distinctly United Colours of Benetton vibe.
The long space has rickety seats and benches but offers comfort food of salads and snacks and more. The staff are cheery and chatty and it is a good place to kick back before heading to clubland. Plus there’s the added fun of a game of table soccer – or as the French call it, baby foot. The place is like a Gallic hybrid of Central Perk and the Happy Days diner. Happy Days indeed.
