This rustic gay get-together is a laid back end to the weekend and the perfect antidote to a weekend of high-octane clubbing. The ambience is cutting edge community centre with conversation being a key element to the fun – chatter is a factor often missing in higher decibel gay joints – and the setting is beautiful with the park’s landmark twin peak hillocks looming as part of the dreamy landscaping.
The idyllic al fresco Rosa Bonheur happens to be in the picturesque Parc des Buttes Chaumont in the leafy heart of Boho-land in northern Paris. A laid-back crowd of the gay, the lesbian and the gay friendly congregates around the park buvette on Sunday nights. This hip crowd wiles away the evening over beers and wine and food seated on benches at tables or sprawled on the grass.
