The clothes here are primarily directed towards female buyers but the real attraction of this hipper-than-thou concept shop isn’t the rags on sale but to see what’s deemed worthy enough to earn a place on the music, books and magazine shelves and in the collection of 66 products and designer objects that capture the zeitgeist of local style mob. Aloof and pretentious? Sure. But – like fellow concept store Colette and the category-defying Palais de Tokyo art museum – also unmistakably Parisian and part of the reason you came to visit in the first place.
