The branch of the L’Eclaireur chain totally dedicated to men, it continues owner Armand Hadida’s ethos of promoting young designers alongside high-end, edgy names including Maison Martin Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester and Comme des Garcons. The avant-garde aesthetic is reflected in eclectic surrounds, where you’ll find glass cabinets housing Dyptique candles and a bit of taxidermy next to exposed pipework, standalone rails of clothes on hardwood floors, and lacquered shelves above distressed leather armchairs. Make sure also to swing by the newest location of this luxury emporium at 40 rue de Sevigne, worth a visit alone to admire the interiors by Belgian artist Arne Quinze.
