In its former incarnation as La Scène Bastille, this mid-sized venue was primarily a concert hall but with several club events, including regular gay nights, for “every kind of people, every kind of music”. Revamped and relaunched as Le Badaboum, it maintains this ethos with a mixed programme of intimate gigs and top notch club nights.
Featuring a new decor and top-flight sound system, it now also sports a cocktail bar for a more relaxed drinks and tapas session, as well as an exclusive (look good, turn on the charm), not-so-secret bachelor pad upstairs to escape the hoi polloi below. Slicker and more refined, check the programme for the occasional gay event or just go party with the regular crowd which can still be fun.
