While honing his skills at Calvin Klein, Rodriguez’s first major attention came when he designed the wedding dress for then co-worker Carolyn Bessete Kennedy’s wedding to John F. Kennedy, Jr. Eventually starting his own line, he has made dresses for Salma Hayek, Sara Jessica Parker, Clair Daines, and most notably Michelle Obama.
