When it comes to charity events, few organizations make them more high profile than amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research founded by Elizabeth Taylor among others, and the Inspiration Gala series is no exception.
The black tie event is a celebration of men’s style with a different design inspiration each year. Last year gave honours to Michael Kors and James France, with performances by Liza Minelli, Jennifer Hudson and Courtney Love.
This year's nominees are still under wraps, but is known is that Marc Jacobs is chairing the event, so expect plenty of other A, B and gay-listers to be present, including president of amfAR, Kenneth Cole.
A grand benefactor contribution of USD 5,000 for two will get you preferential access to the reception with all the slebs, whereas lower priced ticket buyers will have to gawk at them from a distance. Donated pieces from major designers will also be shown and auctioned away at the event, before a formal dinner is served
