‘Ah Juliet’; ditch Dire Straits and wiggle into the welcoming arms of this Chelsea poser, a not-so-secret supperclub that since its opening has had tongues wagging and fashionable young things queuing at the nondescript black door.
The venue, reminiscent of the inside of a kaleidoscope and about as subtle as flying brick, was created by nightlife impresario Jon B of Greenhouse (no longer involved) and starts the night as a restaurant with a menu by talented San Fran transplant Mario Tolentino, featuring international street food-inspired fare.
The dishes are group-friendly share and share alike and you’re best to bring a big group – tables here are set to seat up to 15, and you’ll want a crowd to party with after 11pm. That’s when the sceney place transforms into a club with tables reserved strictly for bottle service and the glitter ball design really coming into its own.
Keep an eye out for special DJ sets and dress to impress if you don’t plan on turning up for dinner, as the door policy is ‘selective’ at best. She always was a picky bitch that Juliet.
