Forget Studio 54 – these days gay New Yorkers are all over Saturdays at Club 57. Brought together by Tony Fornabaio and Brandon Voss, this huge dance party over Providence’s three levels caters for all kinds of different tastes, with international DJs (like Cruz, Tony Moran and Escape) and stellar live performances on the main floor, pop and commercial crowd pleasers in the basement, and chill out tunes in the lounge. Populated by plenty of hot boys, trannies, twinkies, hipsters and go-go dancers, the night has been tipped by the Village Voice’s Michael Musto as heading up ‘Gay Nightlife on the Rebound’.
