First things first. When your plane lands, grab your carry-on and immediately have the taxi driver drop you off at Splash. Let’s just get it out of your system now. It should be on your To-Do List somewhere near the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. Open seven nights a week, right in Chelsea, it’s one of the busiest nightclubs in New York – and maybe one of the trashiest (which is part of the fun). Bartenders slave away in little more than a pair of white briefs to serve you a drink on one of the two floors, bathrooms stalls are almost see-through allowing you to see who-knows-who doing God-knows-what, and a busy happy hour offers 2-for-1 drinks and enough light to see your neighbour. The dance floor gets sweaty and shirtless after midnight on weekends.
