The Hyatt’s cool new boutique-brand sister is slowly taking the hotel world by storm, with stand-out branches in both London and West Hollywood. Its East Coast offering has arrived smack bang in the middle of Wall Street and boasts all the hallmarks of what is swiftly becoming known as ‘the Andaz experience’. Think being personally greeted by a host when you arrive, check in via hand-held computers, complimentary mini-bar munchies and non-alcoholic beverages, a barista in the lobby throughout the day, and your bed set up as pre-requested on your Sleep Menu. Chic and sleek interiors – smooth lines and creamy hues galore – whilst bedrooms come with peek-a-boo bathtubs and rotating cube closets. With little to do in the local vicinity at night, the place comes equipped with its own hotspot Bar Seven Five, where you can get, well, smashed on the 75 Smash signature cocktail at one of the several bar islands dotted around the room.
