Never been much of a skier, but love drinking back at the lodge? Aspen Social Club, with its woody-chic decor and fireplace, is packed with après-ski Barbies in six-inch heels and ex-college fratboys. The bar resembles a funky log cabin complete with disco lights and a dramatic antler chandelier which, when lit up, looks like a cluster of icy stalagmites straight off the slopes. The main bar specializes in premium tequilas, as well as Colorado-themed cocktails such as the Baileys and Chivas “Biff,” Aspen resident Hunter S. Thompson’s favorite.
