For those of you neither starring in a Hollywood blockbuster nor in possession your first internet million, but still hankering after some fun in the Meatpacking District, this is the place for you. Originally a butcher shop, APT started the New York trend of “secret clubs.” Although not such a secret anymore, two metal doors in a non-descript building lead you to a sleek pied-à-terre upstairs and a cool rec-room of sorts downstairs to dance, or just bop your head if it’s crowded. The cute, mixed crowd with cocktails and extra-large cans of Saporro are here for the music, not the scene. Depending on the night and the company you keep, APT at least always has potential.
