Get on the M60 bus which takes you to Astoria station in Queens or to one of the three 125th Street stations on Manhattan where you can get on the subway to downtown. From a time and cost perspective only worthwhile if you have a lot of luggage and are travelling solo. The SuperShuttle (and other shuttle services) will pool you with other travellers to and from the airport. Follow the signs to the Ground Transportation Desk after having cleared customs and arrange for your ride using the courtesy phone or by asking an agent at the desk. Shuttles leave every 15-30 minutes, then there’s a journey time of 45-90 minutes depending on whether you’re the first or last drop-off. Going to the airport, call and arrange for pick-up time (you’ll be given a 15 minute time window).
