For a classical Spanish souvenir that doesn’t consist of a beach towel or result in a trip to the doctor once home, head to Casa de Diego where the finest handicrafts have been painstakingly created since 1800. Traditional fans come in engraved wood, delicately painted fabric and lace, umbrellas and walking sticks have silver and alpaca handles, intricate lacework adorns shawls, veils and mantillas, whilst the rhythmically inclined looking for some publically acceptable wrist action could pick up a pair of castanets.
