For a truly relaxing experience that doesn’t have to cost the earth in expensive massages (or your dignity), try this Arabic bath house. Modelled on a proper Turkish hammam, it has three pools varying between cold, warm and hot temperatures, as well as a steam sauna and relaxing tea room in its subterranean terracotta vault. Silence is the key, so take in the soft candlelight, Moorish décor, and the gentle gurgling of fountains – which makes a nice change from groans and moans because this isn’t that kind of place. Finish off with a visit to the restaurant which serves Andalusian-Arabic cuisine and often hosts exotic dance shows.
