It’s a shame that some of the most beautiful things in the world (Gucci bags, Ming vases, runway models) often have little happening on the inside. And that’s a criticism also often levelled at this über-chic restaurant catering to Madrid’s elite upper classes. Enchanting décor there may be – after all, how many people can boast a pool lit up by three giant light boxes in their home – but service can be on the short side. However, if you’re attractive, thin and super stylish, you’ll enjoy the beautifully appointed dishes and really, very good food. But then if you actually are beautiful, thin and stylish, none of this has gone in, has it. Hello?
