Luis Galliusi is the man behind the décor at this beautifully converted, 17th century palace where stark black and white spaces almost glow in the dark, back-lit images of castles adorn the walls, and impossibly long floor-to ceiling drapes line the stairs. Boasting its own coat-of-arms logo, the restaurant is headed up by Aitor Garcia Cerro, whose Mediterranean menu keeps things simple, clean, and fit for royalty. Which, let’s face it, in these times could probably be any of the bleach blondes sprinkled across the dining room. Whether she could operate the music box in which her cheque arrives, however, is another question entirely. Bet she’d make quick work of the Moët champagne bar though.
