Summer in the city wouldn’t be complete without a rooftop eatery, and locals are loving this airy number perched atop the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Launched only in 2008 and translated as ‘The Lookout’, the views of Paseo del Prado are pretty enchanting, whilst the clientele keep up the style quota with in-the-know locals and well-to-do visitors flocking for seafood and long, light lunches by chefs from the ever-trendy Paradis group. The menu is inspired by the museum’s exhibitions, with Mallorcan Abstraction, Tilled Earth and Catalan Landscape amongst the dishes that have been served in seasons past. Wonder what this season’s Matisse will bring to the tastebuds?
