PUBLIC

Public is yet another restaurant from the Catalan Andilana group, and cut from the same mould as the other establishments:  elegant, inviting interiors, cheap prices and pre-fabricated, though perfectly edible food (and the desserts are all yummy without exception).

Throw in its central Malasaña location and it's an unbeatable value-for-money proposition. Reservations, however, are not taken, so it's a matter of showing up and biding your time in the queue, though tables tend to shift fast.
