There’s something a bit Monocle about this multi-brand destination. Perhaps it’s the dinky proportions of the space, the monochrome branding, or the gentlemanly logo; Moustache is like an outpost of the dandy Conde Duque district in the midst of Chueca.
Most likely, it’s the selectiveness of items up for grabs, pulling stock in from a small number of footwear and apparel designers like Bedwin, Rockwell, and Surface To Air. You can now shop online, but then you’d forego the joy of perusing the carefully procured stock.
Go preppy with Wood Wood pastel pants and Lacoste espadrilles, or grab a saucy Keith Haring-esque t-shirt by Parra Don Piano, sunspecs by Illesteva, and woven Hixsept limited edition Colaba shoes that wouldn’t go amiss in ‘The Talented Mister Ripley’. Or now Madrid.
