To jazz up a literary salon there’s apparently no better way than to literally strip it. So following the Stateside success of nude girls reading out loud, here’s a mouthful, earful and eyeful of literature presented by naked London boys.
Anybody who has attended a Book Slam event will be familiar with the format – drinks, music and socializing in addition to the storytelling – but the shedding of clothes (readers only, please) and the setting at the Ace Hotel makes Naked Boys Reading a rather fun Sunday brunch with none of the self-conscious smugness.
Though there will be a few tickets available on the door, it’s recommended to buy in advance if you want to see what these guys are packing. The line-up of boys-in-the-buff for this Virginia Woolf edition will be announced shortly.
