Set in London’s oldest public park, Lovebox is one of the UK’s big news summer events that packs a big musical punch.
After eight years in the business, they’re now boasting seven stages and a diverse line-up to suit every taste – plus you don’t have to camp out to get the festival fever with its East-End location. Confirmed acts include Hot Chip, Friendly Fires, Crystal Castles and Kelis, as well as DJ sets from the Horse Meat Disco gang, the Circus guys including Jodie Harsh and Kris Di Angelis, and the Gutterslut people.
Off piste there’s plenty of entertainment too, like art installations, totally not-so-secret bingo from the Underground Rebel Club, a kama sutra masterclass and a proper hoe-down in gingham pinnys. See – something for everyone. Except for the portaloos, because let’s face it; they’re not for anyone. Keep ‘em crossed ‘til home time, which is mercifully not a tent.
