Making up the ground floor of Terence Conran’s latest venture The Boundary, this well-meaning caff is warm, welcoming and wafting through with the homey smells of fresh baking and a Full English. Take the best elements of a traditional greasy spoon, take out the grime and replace it with style, and you’ve got Albion. The breakfast is available all day, segueing into a late-night menu of kedgeree comforters and hot chocolate with homemade shortbread for insomniacs. Make sure to stop by the shop which sells all kinds of Anglo goodies, from HP sauce and Maldon sea salts to seasonal produce from Conran’s own kitchen garden, and a tempting array of jams, biscuits and store cupboard essentials.
