Fashionistas perusing neighbouring Dover Street Market, and the men who like to feed them (or proffer food in their direction anyway), can be found at this Mayfair eatery owned by New York entrepreneur Carlos Almada. Styled as an American diner, it does a mean burger and shake in a Manhattan-esque set up, with leather booths under a curved wooden ceiling at the back and a chic black and white chequered floor front of house. You’ll find American ex-pats filling up on pancakes and macaroni cheese, as well as a smattering of celebrities enjoying the comprehensive cocktail menu before stumbling into the welcome arms of the London paps. Just like at home. Ahh.
