Famed throughout London for their eclectic taste in interiors, the friends behind Les Trois Garcons also own über hip bars Annex 3 (in the West End) and neighbouring Lounge Lover. Identifiable by its door-side torches, this restaurant is all about the drama, filled to the brim with antique curiosities, artsy hangings and an overstuffed baroque sensibility that, if the food wasn’t so good, could easily act as a distraction. The Anglo-French menu may be slightly overpriced, but you’re paying for the whole package here; and who doesn’t love a little taxidermy with their soup? For those who like all the trimmings, you’ll get more than you bargained for here.

What others say

Urban Junkies

Whilst the Gallic cuisine is certainly impressive, it is the ostentatious and taxidermically-stuffed (sorry) décor that really draws in the clientelle to Shoreditch’s Les Trois Garçons.
