You’d think the last place a French chef would want to step foot would be a traditional English pub, wiz all our rubbash fried cheeps, non? Not Thierry Tomasin, who has taken over this early 19th century space, thrown in some art deco fancies, and turned it into one of London’s best ‘brasserie de luxe’. Try the signature ‘fois gras crème brûlée’ for some bonified Gallic gastronomy, before moving on to more approachable dishes. We feel an entente cordiale coming on.
