Home to the best blues and soul food, The Blues Kitchen is another newcomer to the London gastro scene providing moody Camdenites with a nightly selection of live music encompassing everything from Golden Soul and Funk to classic Rhythm & Blues. If you reckon you’ve got something to offer, check out the weekly Soul Jams and get that instrument in tune, or else settle into the restaurant and tuck into Seafood Gumbo, BBQ chicken, Mississippi Mud Pie or the epic Po’Boy sandwich – legend says it’s the oldest in the world and can keep a man fed for an entire day. Wash that down with something from the extensive selection of Bourbons, Tennessee Whiskeys or Ryes behind the bar, or let the staff mix you what is arguably the town’s finest julep – whilst there’s little reason to moan here, you’ll be singing the blues in no time.
