Putting other delis to shame with its starkly white setting and mouth watering array of dishes, Ottolenghi does everything from picnic catering and takeout lunches to quick bites and seated dinners. Grab your own loaf of bread, a massive meringue and some freshly-baked delicacies from any of the artful displays, or take a seat at any of the long white tables which seem to disappear down the length of the shop. The menu changes daily and is kept fairly minimal, offering up Mediterranean cuisine with a splash of Middle Eastern influence; tagines, couscous and lush salads keep the area’s hipsters coming back for more.
