Billing itself as the ultimate clubbing experience, Trade is the original arena for the all-night gay bender and has helped countless DJs cut their teeth, including Daz Sound,Trevor Rockliffe and the late Tony de Vit. Throbbing music, masses of topless people, hypnotic laser shows and buckets of blood, sweat and probably tears ensure you’ll be thoroughly spent come midday (operating hours are from about 4am). Trade holds the largest gay paying membership in the UK, and though it’s no longer to be found at its legendary Turnmills location, it continues to host nights here at Egg and around the UK and has several international outposts.
