Scruffy, but with a late license and conveniently located if you’re out and about in Shoreditch, the Joiners Arms predictably attracts an unpredictable mish-mash of people. Heaving on weekends, come here to party with dandy hipsters dropping in from the nearby George & Dragon, tank-topped muscle boys too lazy to make the trek to Vauxhall, pudgy cubs and a fine assortment of pretty fag hags. The atmosphere is unmistakenly East End, but without the attitude; here in the pub-turned-party den having a good time is what matters.
