Defined as ‘The new Boombox’ when it opened, in deference to the cooler-than-f*ck fashion folk who’d turn up and Richard Mortimer’s involvement, Ponystep is generally heaving with stylists, photographers, models, gays and their most fabulous lady friends. The actual purpose of the nights is to bring awareness to the website, though an online portal proved a poor substitute when Ponystep à la club shut up shop and moved to Paree. Luckily, it’s back and hosting regular Sunday night jaunts at the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, pulling in the likes of Pam Hogg, Henry Holland, Christopher Kane, Louise Gray and Nicola Formichetti on a regular basis and giving photographers at Dirty Dirty Dancing a reason to live again.
