London’s newest hardcore club scene takes place inside a series of Victorian tunnels and interconnecting rooms under London Bridge. Whilst these arched, underground clubs are hardly big news anymore, Cable does a better job of using its space than others, offering chill out alcoves decked out with Chesterfields and candelabras leading off two main dance floors which keep the décor minimalistic, save for a giant white canvas stretched to ceiling height on which images and lights are projected. Drinks are comparatively cheap, and the DJ listings are particularly impressive for such a new launch, playing mainly techno, dub step, drum ‘n’ bass and house during specialist nights such as Future Flash, Bugged Out, Trailer Trash, Superfreq, Need2Soul, Forever Heavenly, Balance, and Dark Star V Freaks.
