Muscles, spray-on tans and a sprinkling of suits are the order of the day at this Seven Dials bar, which is more café culture than banging club or boozy den, with an outside area for smokers and sun worshippers, and cosy booths surrounding a floor packed with tables and chairs.
Its Covent Garden location makes a nice change from the manic crowds and cruising to be found on Old Compton Street - although the after-work scene at this place can get very manic and cruisey, too - and if you don't find anything you like amongst the clientele, then the bar staff are practically chosen to delight. They even feature in the annual Box Bar calendars, so you can have them on your wall, if not on your floor.
